Drug Dealers

It was the summer of 2017 and I was in my doctor's office because my wrist was broken and she had just reset it using pins to hold it in place. I was in a lot of pain and my doctor stated, "I'm subscribing to you some drugs." The way she said it didn't sit well with me because I grew up in the sixties when drugs permeated the streets, also there are television ads that show how addictive prescription drugs are so, I declined. This isn't the first time this happened to me, doctors appear to be the new drug dealers. Doctors won't hesitate when it comes to prescribing drugs. Instead of getting to the root of your problem they gloss over it by providing an easy fix, "Drugs." You are your best health advocate. Before you put a bandage on whatever health issue you are suffering from take time to research alternative.
