I Love Dating Myself

Enjoy life without stress. There is no reason not to enjoy life if you are by yourself. Take time to enjoy the Arts. I appreciate the Arts, and there are times that I go alone. The great thing about going alone is that you control your variables. Ticket prices are what you can afford. I usually pay for the tickets that I want, without worrying about whether my companion can provide the life that I have chosen for myself. It doesn't bother me to spend a little more for my tickets. I don't have to worry about time and money when I am my date. My companion's lifestyle doesn't plague me because I am my companion! I love the Performance Arts and wanted to see Shen Yun. The commercials on television looked inviting, so I purchased good tickets and went to see it. Shen Yun is a 5,000-year Chinese history dance performance worth seeing. I went to Lincoln Center and had a great seat watching the extraordinary performance. It was cold that day, and I had on a few layers of clothing. I was using a newly purchased pocketbook that was awkward because the latch had to be forced closed. I went to the bathroom to remove some of my layers, and my wallet fell to the floor, in the stall. Immediately I picked it up and commenced to remove my wool scarf and hat. I went to my seat and enjoyed the first half of the show. During intermission, a young man came to my row and asked, " Is Brenda here?" I looked up and asked him by repeating are you looking for, I repeated my entire name. He said yes, you dropped your American Express Card. He commented, in jest, "it's a good American Express card too!" I was very puzzled, when did I take out my card? Then I remembered I dropped it in the stall in the bathroom over an hour and a half ago. People passed the card to me, and I began to put it in my wallet. My wallet fell to the floor between the chairs the level below me. I bent down, and all of my cards fell out.

Immediately after the performance, I purchased a more secure wallet with a zipper. I didn't feel inadequate, there was no judgement,

because my date understands that shit happens!
